Gianluca Salviotti is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Digital Transformation Practice at SDA Bocconi School of Management.

Gianluca is co-founder of the Digital Enterprise Value and Organization Lab (SDA Bocconi DEVO Lab), which studies the impact of digital technologies on companies and their ecosystems. In the last 8 years, the DEVO Lab has involved more than 40 corporate members who are part of a global Think Tank on Digital Transformation.

Gianluca’s research focus on the scouting and assessment practices of emerging digital technologies and their links with value creation. Gianluca won several teaching and research awards for his lectures and studies on digital transformation.

Luca Mascaro is a designer and serial entrepreneur. His 20+ years of practice have been inspired by sci-fi, architecture, Japanese culture and the interest in human experiences.

In 2006 he founded Sketchin to meet a challenge: mould a world where people can live experiences over their expectations. Sketchin is based in Switzerland with branches in Lugano (CH), Milan (IT), Rome (IT) and San Francisco (US) and currently employs 100+ designers.

Since 2016, the studio has been part of BIP Group, and Luca Mascaro became a Managing Partner of the Group with a strong focus on Advanced Consulting and Exponential technologies.

He is a global professional with more than ten years of experience in the intersection of business and technology with a special focus on new technologies and blockchain.

His areas of expertise include Digital Transformation, Innovation Lab (Internet of Things, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Blockchain), technical project management, banking compliance, and operations and process re-engineering.

Giuseppe has led the development of new services and technology solutions to support business transformation in key industries, such as consumer products, automotive, energy, financial services, and the public sector.

Among his main projects, he launched the world’s first blockchain-based wine supply chain traceability solution “Wine Blockchain” on the Italian and international markets, he organized the first open innovation hackathon event on the use of Blockchain technology applied to the Italian Public Administration. He was also Head of a Blockchain Observatory.

He collaborates with several specialized master’s degree programs at the universities of Rome Tor Vergata, Luiss Carlo Goldoni, and Cattolica of Milan.

She has worked with companies & startups in the B2C and B2B SaaS software space for more than 14 years. She has co-founded multiple startups, launched an NGO and was part of two exits (Tech.eu was bought by Webrazzi; Kaltura exited via an IPO). Today, she is an entrepreneur turned investor working with Miles Ahead, a new venture studio focused on responsible AI & Deep Tech in Ghent (Belgium) and serves as an advisor to Field of View Ventures, a pan-European fund focused on startups building the Metaverse.

Eleonora Faina, General Manager of Anitec-Assinform. 41 years old, with a degree in political science, she has a Master in Antitrust and market regulation, for over 15 years she has been dealing with public policies and institutional affairs for trade associations and companies in regulated sectors, in Italy and in Brussels. In her professional career she has gained solid experience in advocacy and lobbying, working closely with institutions at all levels (Parliament, Government, regulatory authorities, local authorities). In addition, thanks to over 9 years in the Confindustria system (2008-2017), you have acquired specific skills in policy making, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, public procurement, industrial policies and digitalization. Until July 2019 she was Senior Manager Institutional Affairs at Italiana petroli S.p.A. and from August 2019 she was Head of Industrial Policies of FederlegnoArredo.

Arturo Tedeschi is an Italian architect and computational designer internationally renowned for his sculptural and visionary approach combined with research on advanced design methods, materials and fabrication technologies. His use of digital technologies blurs the line between disciplines and emphasizes the semantic and emotional values of objects. Qualities such as functionality, sustainability and innovation are always complemented by a vision where forms are capable of triggering an emotional response and inspire the user.

His work includes: architecture projects, interior design, stage design, automotive, industrial design, jewelry, watches, furniture, fashion, footwear, as well as a significant production of art installations.
As a consultant he collaborated with world-known brands and offices such as Ross Lovegrove Studio, Zaha Hadid Architects, Adidas, Volkswagen, providing services related to algorithmic modeling, complex geometry, digital fabrication, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and data driven design. His personal work has been featured in international magazines such as Forbes, Wired, Dezeen, AD, Business Insider and exhibited worldwide.
He is the author of the book AAD Algorithms-Aided Design unanimously considered the global reference on the subject and since 2011 he promoted and directed several events and workshops that trained a generation of students and professionals. In 2019 he was appointed Italian Ambassador for Design by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He lives and works in Milano.

Pierre is a Partner with the international strategy consulting firm Roland Berger. He is the Global Head of the firm’s Digital Asset, Web3 and Metaverse team and a recognized thought leader in the space. Pierre is advising clients on developing their specific strategies and implementation of use cases, focusing on digital assets, web3, metaverse, tokenization, crypto mining and digital identity. Pierre is a crypto native and has been involved in the crypto ecosystem since 2015 including hands on experience in the setup and growth of digital assets and various blockchain pilot developments. In addition Pierre is an active gamer since 30 years.

Pierre is many leading think tanks including Crypto Valley Association, The Green Block and the World Economic Forum’s Crypto Impact and Sustainability Accelerator. In addition, he is an advisor to Wisdomise, a Switzerland and UAE based startup utilizing AI for digital asset trading, wealth management and a crypto-specific generative and predictive AI-bot. 

Before joining Roland Berger he held several executive positions, among them being the Managing Partner & CEO of RWE’s Consulting and Venture Investment business in the Middle East, as well as several board positions in AI and crypto startups in the UK.  

Pierre holds a Master of Business Administration in General Management, a Bachelor degree in Information Technology, as well as several executive certificates from top global business schools like MIT Sloan, Wharton, LBS and INSEAD. 

Mauro’s journey into the world of technology began at the tender age of eleven when he wrote his first program in “basic language.” Little did he know that this initial spark of curiosity would ignite a lifelong passion within him. 

From 1998 to 2001, Mauro served in the Italian Army, teaching skydiving and experiencing the thrill of parachuting firsthand. It was during this time that he encountered a VR simulator for paratroopers, which left an indelible impression on him.

Fast forward to December 2010, when Mauro founded JoinPad, a groundbreaking Augmented Reality company operating in the industrial sector. Recognized as one of the most advanced companies in its field, JoinPad made waves in 2011 with the introduction of the world’s first wearable AR solution for the maintenance industry. This pioneering achievement catapulted JoinPad’s reputation, culminating in the prestigious AWE Award in 2017, a globally recognized accolade in the world of AR.

Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Mauro assumed the esteemed position of Chairman of the Italian presidency of VRARA, the largest association dedicated to Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. His leadership and expertise in the industry were invaluable during his tenure from 2017 to 2019.

Mauro’s knowledge and insights into Augmented Reality and emerging technologies have been sought after by prestigious universities worldwide. He has delivered captivating speeches at esteemed institutions such as Jiao Tong University in Beijing, IULM University of Communication and Languages, SDA Bocconi School of Management, Politecnico Milano, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, and NABA Nuova Accademia Belle Arti.

Recognized as a thought leader on the global stage, Mauro has been invited to speak at numerous international events. Singularity University Italy, World Conference on VR Industry and 5G in Nanchang, China, AI Europe-China Summit in Dongguan, Futureland in Milan, Augmented Reality Expo Asia in Xi’an and Beijing, and AWE Santa Clara, California, have all welcomed his captivating presentations, enriching the discourse on Augmented Reality and its potential.

Currently, Mauro holds the position of Vice President and Overseas Business Director at AIXC Holding in Shenzhen, where, as the Director of AI Research and Innovation, he leads the design and production of cutting-edge microchips.

Over the past 12 years, he has assisted world-class organizations in the technology and luxury sectors to cultivate and achieve their brand, marketing, and business objectives. These organizations include Huawei, Saatchi & Saatchi, Bvlgari, and Bitsong (Cosmo Blockchain) in the
UK, Australia, Italy, and now Dubai.
Mirko is currently leading the digital transformation of LIGHTBLUE, named “Best Experiential Agency of 2022 in the Middle East” by Campaign Magazine. Marco is an Italian executive with 15 years of Procter & Gamble experience around the globe. He had direct experiences in 4 countries (Italy, Switzerland, Russia and USA), 4 different business units and his latest role was Feminine Care Global & USA Managing Director where he was responsible for 2BLN$+ Business value. Now proud NFT collector (200+ NFTs including BAYC, CloneX, Veefriends, Doodles, Azuki and Moonbirds), he just left P&G to become CMO of a digital health start up and Founder of GiacaLabs, a boutique consulting firm that guides top Fortune 500 brands to leverage new technologies to win. Additionally, he is also board member of several start ups globally and visiting lecturer at top European business schools

Giulia is Corporate Strategy Manager at Balich Wonder Studio (live entertainment, large scale events), working on future-proof M&A, scouting players to address new challenges with. Occasional Professor and lecturer, ghost writer and committees’ member, she is passionate for every from of cultural contaminations and everywhere she finds forces joint to create new value.

Sergio Nava, a respected Italian architect and designer, studied at Politecnico di Milano and further enhanced his expertise by obtaining a “PG Cert in Learning and Teaching in HE” from Manchester Metropolitan University. He is currently the Director of Education at Istituto Marangoni Milano. His work has received numerous international prizes, including the Red Dot Design Award. His innovative mindset has led him to collaborate with global companies and hi-tech startups.

Caitlin Krause is a globally-recognized experience designer, learning expert, author, and keynote speaker. She teaches at Stanford University about technology and wellbeing. In her books Mindful by Design (2019) and Designing Wonder (2020) and through her organizational consulting, Caitlin helps individual leaders and teams leverage mindfulness, storytelling, and design to form better human-centered relationships with mindful technology.

As founder of the MindWise consultancy, co-founder of the Center of Wise Leadership, and a virtual reality, XR and AI specialist, Caitlin contributes to building products and experiences that promote humanity, innovation and emotional intelligence. She speaks worldwide, delivering keynotes and leading professional development and learning workshops.

Caitlin actively guides leaders about effective uses of virtual reality and immersive storytelling to allow imagination and creativity to flourish. Caitlin has more than a decade of experience as an educator, promoting mindful leadership and learning models throughout organizations. She holds a BA from Duke University and an MFA from Lesley University, and believes in embracing creative constraints, living a life filled with moments of wonder, and connecting with passion, purpose and presence.

Charlie Fink writes the weekly Forbes column “This Week in XR” and co-hosts its companion podcast. He is the author of the critically acclaimed AR-enabled books “Charlie Fink’s Metaverse” (2017), and “Convergence, How The World Will Be Painted With Data” (2019). Fink teaches XR and Metaverse Studies at Chapman University in Orange, CA.

Fink’s forty year career at the convergence of popular culture and technology began at Walt Disney Feature Animation in 1987 where he famously came up with the idea for “The Lion King” and subsequently became the studio’s youngest creative vice-president. Fink’s work in technology began in 1992 when he joined Tim Disney’s pioneering location-based VR company, Virtual World Entertainment, as its COO. In 1995, AOL recruited him to be Senior Vice President & Chief Creative Officer of AOL Studios (1995-1999). Fink was also President of American Greetings Interactive and Blue Mountain (2000-2004). His other experience includes exits from several startups and running the New York Musical Festival.

Fink gives keynotes on topics relateed to the Metaverse all over the world. His consulting practice is focused on helping tech companies tell their stories.

Born in Osimo (Ancona) in 1978. Nerd since the age of 8, avid gamer, confirmed his passion for computers by learning to code at an early age. After classical studies and an honors degree in business administration, he began a career in marketing and sales at several multinational companies. After a long international experience at Luxottica, one day he tried Google Glass and realized that the future of eyewear was actually in technology. At the end of 2015, he left the world of large companies and decided to found AnotheReality with two other partners, where he is now CEO. He is also an author, TEDx speaker, professor at the Marangoni Institute, and SDA Bocconi collaborator.

I’ve spoken at important events like WCVRI, View Conference, and AWE and I’ve been featured on Forbes, Huffington Post, Road To VR, and Authority Magazine.
